Video Library:

One of the benefits of membership in the Woodworkers Guild of Georgia is having access to the nearly 100 video tapes in our tape library. The tapes were purchased for all members with funds provided from our annual membership fees, from monthly fees charged for checking tapes out in the past (this practice was changed in 1997), and from penalties charged for keeping tapes longer than one month. To have equal access to all the tapes by all members, the guild has established several rules for our use of the tapes.

  1. A member may sign out tapes at any meeting where tapes are available. Usually, the tapes are not transported to off-site (other than Southern Poly Tech) meeting locations.
  2. There is no charge for borrowing tapes for one month. However, if tapes are kept longer than the next monthly meeting, a fee of $3.00 per month per tape will be charged when the tapes are returned. Penalty fees
will be waived for any month a Guild meeting is cancelled.
  3. The tapes should be returned to the tape librarian at the next meeting, or, in the absence of the tape librarian, to any board member. The tapes should be returned whether the meeting is at Atlanta Tech or an off-site location.

If you wish to have a tape, or tapes, added to the library, please provide the Guild Librarian the name, source, and cost of the tape. Your request will be considered for purchase at the next board meeting.
