The Woodworkers' Guild of Georgia was formed in 1980 by a group of dedicated woodworkers. Today the membership of amateur and professional woodworkers continues to follow our mission statement to educate our members and the public through the promotion and development of the highest standards in every aspect of woodworking. 30 day notice Of Change to the Bylaws:

We had to make Bylaw changes required to resolve and clarify issues with the Corporation structure, Name, Function and Purpose of Guild now that we have become a charitable organization as a Section501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code, We clarified Membership status, requirements, Voting, Governing Body, Officers and the Addition of Article VII, Vlll, lX
